The first release of the Guanoo’s X-Perform module is available at Google Code here http://code.google.com/p/guanoo/

It includes:

  • Servers to extract, transform and load web event data from Apache log files

  • Client API programs to deliver reports via XML and JSON formats

Please give me your feedback in the blog comments.

Forking WTIQ

June 15th, 2008

I’ve spent the past month working on a new fork of the Sourceforge WTIQ project. This will form the DNA of the new Google code project called Guanoo. The WTIQ code is being turned into a service which will be delivered as XPerform. The choice of name is designed to imply that the service can measure the performance of any given online event stream, where X is that stream. The result will be delivered at www.xperform.com as soon as it’s tested and ready - and that’s where this week’s test suites come in. I’m hoping to have a version published as open source, and running at www.xperform.com by the end of June.

Welcome to the Guanooz blog

This year I’ve made many improvements to Site Stats - from new reports, to extra information and a snazzy new dashboard. I’ve got a lot of ideas for further improvements, but it would be better if I listened first to what you - the customer - wants to see. So here is the Site Stats blog. Please add your comments and tell me how I can better serve your web analytics needs.
