Protect your privacy

You can protect your online privacy by changing your web browser security settings. You can also tell us to stop tracking you by removing your old Site Stats cookies, and giving you an "opt out" cookie.

If you are still concerned about your privacy, follow the security advice below:

Microsoft™ Internet Explorer™

1. Click "Tools" on the menu bar
2. Click "Internet Options..." on the Tools menu
3. Click the "Security" tab at the top of the dialog box
4. Click "Custom Level" on the Security page
5. Choose your prefered level of security from the drop-down list (e.g. "High")
6. Click "Reset" to reset your security settings, then "OK" to confirm this change
7. Click "OK" to close the dialog box

Mozilla™ Firefox™

1. Click "Tools" on the menu bar
2. Click "Options..." on the Tools menu
3. Click "Privacy" in the list at the top of the options box
4. Choose your prefered cookie settings (e.g. by adding exceptions)
5. To change Java and JavaScript settings, click "Content" at the top
6. Click "OK" to close the dialog box
